King’s birthday parade

Bermuda will celebrate the official birthday of King Charles III today with a parade in Hamilton packed with music and military pomp.
The Royal Bermuda Regiment, led by its Band and Corps of Drums, will head a march on Front Street, supported by Bermuda Police Service and Bermuda Sea Cadet Corps marching units.
The event, which starts at 10.30am, will be attended by the Governor, Andrew Murdoch, with David Burt, the Premier, and other officials.
Road restrictions in Hamilton will be in place ahead of the ceremony.
King Charles III, 76, who became the monarch following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2022, was born on November 14, 1948.
Live coverage of the parade will be carried on the Government’s Facebook page and on CITV.
