Northlands Primary choir sings at Disney World
A primary school choir brought a piece of Bermuda to the Disney World theme park when they performed at the place where dreams come true.
The Northlands Primary School Choir, led by choir leader Terry Henry, serenaded attendees at the amusement park in Orlando, Florida.
They performed several songs — one of which was Bermudian — and were later joined by a Gombey.
The primary school published a video of part of the performance on its Instagram page.
The caption said: “Well done Northlands Primary! We are proud of you for representing Bermuda and your school so well at Disney!!”
The choir got international recognition last March when Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Kirk Franklin shared a video of the choir singing his song Bless Me on Instagram.
The video caught thousands of views over social media, with the choir getting a shout-out from Mr Franklin himself.
Another video of the choir singing a three-part harmony also got worldwide attention and racked up millions of views.
The choir has also won the Skyport’s Great Bermuda Carol-Off during Christmastime for two consecutive years.
The choir is expected to return to Bermuda tomorrow afternoon.
