Wounding and attempted robbery charges dropped
Prosecutors dropped charges yesterday against a man accused of wounding and attempted robbery.
Natrae Eversley, 23, denied the charges along with possessing a “bladed or sharply pointed object” in an increased penalty zone when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court last November.
Mr Eversley, from Devonshire, was alleged to have committed the offences on October 13 last year.
Yesterday, the Crown entered a nolle prosequi, or request for an indefinite adjournment, in court.
Adjournments through the legal procedure can be upheld for one year before a case gets dismissed.
