Mosaic welcomes four global interns
Mosaic Insurance has welcomed four new university interns across its international offices in Bermuda, London, New York and Chicago as part of its growing summer internship programme.
The 2025 cohort consists of Olivia Washington, Jessica Bruton, Ellie Weber and Muhammad Sharuf Hossain. They will join Mosaic’s communications, cyber and data science teams. Since launching the programme in 2021, the speciality insurer has hosted 17 interns.
“We are excited to welcome our 2025 summer interns as part of our ongoing commitment to investing in the future workforce of Mosaic,” said Haviland Dunne, vice-president and partner of global human resources. “They’ve been integrated into our global teams and are working on impactful projects, gaining hands-on experience that will help shape their professional growth.”
Ms Washington, a recent graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, is interning at Mosaic’s Bermuda headquarters in communications and strategy. “It’s great working with experienced talent located around the world and learning about Mosaic’s unique model,” she said. “Constantly learning and adapting to different teams’ priorities is giving me a solid foundational knowledge of the industry.”
Ms Bruton returns for a second summer with the cyber underwriting team in London, while Ms Weber, a finance student from Providence College, is supporting the cyber team in New York.
In Chicago, Mr Hossain, a Loyola University master’s student in data science, is helping Mosaic’s cyber team develop predictive models and data visualisations. “This opportunity allows me to apply my academic training to real-world challenges,” said Mr Hossain. “I look forward to learning from industry leaders and supporting the development of impactful, data-driven solutions.”
