More than 100 runners and walkers braved changing conditions to compete in the final road race of the running season.

The 2025 Powerade 5K in Devonshire may not have featured the regular winners of Bermuda’s best races but the event was still won in a decent time with Cameron De Ste Croix crossing the line in 18min 30sec.

There was 45 seconds back to runner-up Dustin Luck, who finished in 19:15, with John Carreiro (19:43) finishing third.

Stepanka Sprincova was the first female to finish, stopping her watch at 20:54, which was good enough to finish sixth overall. Dm Salter (23:14) was the second female to cross the line with Laura Knox-Clingerman (23:45) third.

The 5K competitive walk was won by Sam Booth in an impressive 34:00, which was faster than ten runners completed the course. Nancy Andrews-Sousa was the first woman to finish in 38:30 with Debbie Benson taking third overall
