Five Appleby partners have made the Citywealth Leaders List 2025, including Bermudian-based Nicola Bruce and Vanessa Schrum.

The list recognises the most respected professionals in the wealth management and private client industry, recommending those who have demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, technical ability and dedication to serving high-net-worth clients across the globe.

Now featuring more than 1,800 professionals worldwide, the list is curated through a peer-review process, client endorsements and editorial research.

It spans a wide range of specialities, including private wealth law, fiduciary services, tax advisory, private banking, accounting and philanthropy.

Ms Bruce’s entry states that she is a partner in the private client and trusts department in Bermuda, with a wealth of experience in offshore work in that field.

Citywealth also said she had acted for some of the world’s highest-net-worth families on trusts involving substantial business assets.

Vanessa Schrum is senior counsel in the private client and trusts department in Bermuda.

According to Citywealth, she has extensive experience on a wide range of trust and estate planning matters, including applications to the Supreme Court.
