Lane closure in Paget to repair manhole
A section of Trimingham Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic tomorrow and Wednesday, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment announced.
The closure will be in effect north of where the road intersects with Trimingham Hill so a manhole can be repaired in the area, a spokesman said.
Work will be carried out between 9am and 2.30pm on both days, with ministry representatives managing traffic with signs and barricades.
Traffic in the same area was limited to one lane on August 8 and 9, also to accommodate manhole repairs.
Motorists should expect delays and be cautious in the area and can detour via Stowe Hill — one-way northbound — or Point Finger Road.
Questions can be directed to Curtis Charles, the ministry’s construction and maintenance engineer, on 501-3036.
