Taking a wild step into the deep – let’s fix it!
Dear Sir,
I miss the “Let’s Fix It” feature that used to run in The Royal Gazette. At least some things got done around the island.
This is a photo of the steps at Deep Bay — as you can see it is quite steep.
First of all, I want to say thank you for fixing the railings at Deep Bay; they have been very useful. The steps entering the water, however, have been neglected for many years. They first came apart after Hurricane Fabian and have deteriorated since.
I had made contact with several politicians over the years; not one ever replied or did anything about the situation. Please, please, let’s fix this!
On another note, while swimming at Deep Bay on Sunday, my water bottle and carrier — which I use to work every day — got stolen. I was disappointed and saddened to know that you, the thief, felt such a want to go through someone’s belongings and steal from them.
I saw you! Now I see who you are on the inside, too.
