All police phone lines down, alternative numbers in use

Residents were advised this morning that all regular Bermuda Police Service telephone lines are out of service.
The emergency 911 line as well as the non-emergency 211 and the main BPS line at 295-0011 were among those affected by the problem, which was said to be a result of “technical difficulties”.
For police assistance, the following phone numbers should be used until further notice:
Land lines:
• 292-5590
• 295-0012
• 295-0064
• 292-7403
• 292-1707
Mobile phone lines:
• 515- 1745
• 515-1622
• 515-1623
• 515-1624
• 515-1625
The BPS said: “For the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service and/or ambulance, please call 533-2066.
“We thank the public for their co-operation and will provide an update as soon as normal service is restored.”
