Teenager arrested over beauty shop and Devonshire shootings
A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with two gun attacks that left a woman dead and an 18-year-old injured.
The Bermuda Police Service said that the man was arrested in connection with the murder of Janae Minors, who was shot in her store, Beauty Monster, near the corner of Court Street and Dundonald Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Police added that the suspect was also arrested in connection with the attempted murder of an 18-year-old man on Devon Spring Road, Devonshire, in the early hours of September 10.
The BPS added that the victim of that attack continued to recover from his injuries.
A spokesman said: “We wish to thank those members of the public who have so far come forward and provided information to assist.
“However, we believe that there others we still need to hear from.”
