Two deny cocaine and cannabis charges

A couple have been charged with having cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply.

Josephine Limberopoulis, 34, denied the offences in Magistrates’ Court yesterday after her husband, Salih Burns, 32, pleaded not guilty at an earlier court appearance.

The couple, from Paget, allegedly had five grams of cocaine and almost 69 grams of cannabis in Pembroke on August 2, 2024. Mr Burns denied a separate charge of having a folding saw with a blade longer than three inches in public on the same date.

Magistrate Maria Sofianos adjourned the case until October 15 and released Mr Burns and Ms Limberopoulis on $8,000 bail until that time.
