Families have been invited to engage with 12 of Canada’s top independently accredited boarding schools as well as the University of Toronto — widely considered as one of the world’s most respected colleges.

The institutions, which have accreditation from the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools, will come together at the CAIS Boarding Schools Fair at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Wednesday.

The event will offer attendees the chance to explore the educational opportunities offered by the facilities and learn about their “academic excellence, safe and inclusive communities, and university pathways”, a spokeswoman said.

She added: “In addition to discovering life at Canada’s best boarding schools, families will gain insights into how a CAIS education opens doors to elite universities across the globe.

“Representatives from the University of Toronto will be on hand to discuss academic programmes, student life and admissions requirements, giving attendees a complete picture of both high school and postsecondary pathways in Canada.

“In partnership with BermudAir, attendees at the fair will have the chance to win one of three free tickets to Canada.

“In addition, all attendees will also be given exclusive BermudAir discount codes for future flight bookings to Canada, making it even easier to explore the outstanding education opportunities on offer.”

The spokeswoman said: “CAIS schools are dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences and pursuing continuous improvement in every aspect of school life.

The fair will be held on October 1 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm at BUEI.
