Krista Robinson will be promoted to chief risk officer at Vantage Group Holdings Ltd, succeeding Peter Skerlj who is retiring after a distinguished career in the industry, the company has announced.

Ms Robinson will join the group's leadership team and report to Greg Hendrick, Vantage’s chief executive.

In her new role, Ms Robinson will lead the continued evolution of Vantage’s enterprise risk management and reserving frameworks, building on the strong foundation she helped establish since joining the company in 2021.

She will oversee risk and reserving in alignment with Vantage’s goals of sustained, profitable growth. Her leadership will further enhance Vantage’s leading capabilities in risk assessment, analytics, reserving, capital modelling and aggregation, the company said.

“Krista has been instrumental in shaping Vantage’s risk and reserving functions from the ground up,” said Mr Hendrick. “Her actuarial expertise, strategic mindset and collaborative approach have earned her the trust of colleagues across the organisation. I’m thrilled to have Krista step into this expanded role and support our continued momentum as we scale the company.”

He added: "We’re grateful for Pete’s leadership and many contributions to Vantage, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.“

Ms Robinson joined Vantage in 2021 and most recently served as chief risk officer, insurance. Before Vantage, she held several leadership roles at CNA Insurance in risk and governance, enterprise risk management and actuarial reserving.
