The RG/BSX Index rose 4.76 points (17 per cent) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange to end the day at 2,764.53.
Only Allshores saw activity with 2,243 shares changing hands to close at $17.50 up 50 cents.
The total turnover for the day was $39,188.
Meanwhile, Butterfield fell 41 cents on the New York Stock Exchange (0.97 per cent) to finish at $41.98. The volume was 168,039.
