Bank falls 5 cents
Watlington Waterworks restored its strength on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today, closing at $30, up $4 or 15.4 per cent after 600 shares traded, and returning it to where it opened the week. All told, some 1,834 shares traded.
Also up was Allshores after 4,200 shares (4,205 for the week) changed hands, with the stock closing 15 cents (0.9 per cent) higher at $17.25.
The RG/BSX Index closed the week up 6.35 points (0.21 per cent) at 3,020.99. The Index was 41.49 points (1.37 per cent) higher for the week after 11,959 shares traded for a turnover of $202,762.10.
LOM was down 25 cents (3.1 per cent) to $7.75 after 5,000 shares moved. Butterfield was up 75 cents (1.7 per cent) for the week to $45.75 on trading of 920 shares.
Overseas, Butterfield closed at $45.72, down a nickel (0.11 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange.
