Bermuda’s leading economic development agencies are teaming up at this year’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship to highlight investment and business opportunities across the island.

The Bermuda Business Development Agency, Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, Urban Development Authority and Economic Development Department will share a joint hospitality space during the four-day PGA Tour event, which runs until Sunday.

The collaboration builds on the Invest in Bermuda initiative and presents a unified front to investors and local stakeholders. Together, the agencies aim to attract new investment, support small businesses and promote community development.

“This partnership demonstrates our collective commitment to supporting businesses at every level — from local entrepreneurs to global investors,” said Erica Smith, executive director of the BEDC. “Together, we are building pathways that strengthen our economy and create lasting impact.”

Kendaree Burgess, managing director of the BDA, added: “Collaboration is essential to Bermuda’s long-term success. When we align our efforts across investment promotion, business development and community growth, we attract better opportunities and deliver on our shared vision — a vibrant, resilient economy that benefits all the people of Bermuda.”

Officials said the joint effort reflects a broader push to enhance Bermuda’s global competitiveness and demonstrate tangible progress towards shared growth goals.
