Young people learnt about all three of Bermuda’s senior signature schools during recent open houses.

The Berkeley Institute, CedarBridge Academy and Sandys Secondary Signature School showcased programmes and courses offered to students.

An education department spokeswoman said: “The Signature School Taster Programme plays an essential role in helping students make informed choices about their academic and career pathways to assist each young person in finding the right fit for their skills, interests and aspirations.”

Crystal Caesar, the Minister of Education, attended each open house.

“All three senior signature schools embraced the opportunity to engage with middle-school students,” she said.

“Every section and course was on display and students could readily ask questions of the senior students and teachers.

“Congratulations to The Berkeley Institute, CedarBridge Academy and our newest senior school, Sandys Secondary Signature School for organising very impactful and informative open houses.”
