The RG/BSX Index fell 41.97 points to close at 2,979.02.
Only Butterfield Bank saw activity on the Bermuda Stock Exchange with 100 shares trading to end the day at $45, down 75 cents. The turnover was $4,500.
Meanwhile Butterfield Bank rose 28 cents (48 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $45.32 with a volume of 146,435 shares.
