Car overturns in East End collision

Minor traffic disruptions occurred in the East End last night after a collision ended in a car being overturned.

Police, emergency medical services and the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service were called to Mullet Bay Road near its junction with Ferry Road, St George’s, at about 8.45pm.

First responders found two cars, one of which was overturned, after what appeared to have been a collision.

A police spokesman said there were no serious injuries reported, although the female driver of one of the vehicles complained about discomfort to her head.

The occupants of the overturned vehicle were able to exit on their own.

The spokesman said there was minor traffic disruption as vehicles were diverted over Ferry Road from Mullet Bay Road in both directions.
