Crowds lined the roadside in Paget on Saturday as friends, family and the H&H Gombeys paid their final respects to Zaniko Hendrickson.
Mr Hendrickson, 35, was a co-owner of the troupe as well as its lead drummer and a founding member of the Bermuda Gombey Council.
His passing came a week after his birthday on December 23.
A celebration of his life was held at the Heritage Worship Centre in Hamilton, with a procession along South and Middle Roads in Paget to St Paul’s Church for his interment.
