A motorcycle rider is believed to have been seriously hurt in a crash with a water truck this afternoon.

The Bermuda Police Service said that there was a collision between the two vehicles near the junction of Verdmont Road and St Mark’s Road in Smith’s.

They added: “Details are limited at this time, however, the motorcycle rider is said to have sustained serious injuries.

“Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area of the collision and use alternative routes to get to their destinations.”
