Members of Bermuda’s history-making Davis Cup team returned to the island on Monday night.

Wayne Montgomery, who won the deciding singles match to hand Bermuda victory over Georgia in their World Group II playoff, was among the group to return alongside Zachary McGuire, a non-playing member of the squad.

Daniel Phillips, Trey Mallory and captain Ricky Mallory are based in the US and did not return to the island but Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association president Michael Wolfe, physiotherapist Jenson Bascome, assistant team manager Lionel Bartley and team manager Steve Bean were all part of the support squad making their way home.

Bermuda, who were competing at this level for the the first time, will learn their Group II opponents when the draw is made on Thursday.
