The legal team at Conyers has maintained top-tier recognition across key practice areas in the Chambers Global Guide 2026.

The firm has retained its Band 1 rankings in the categories of corporate and finance, insurance and dispute resolution.

Director and chairman Christian Luthi and head of Bermuda corporate practice Marcello Ausenda continued to be recognised with Chambers’ highest distinction as eminent practitioners.

Thirteen Conyers lawyers were individually ranked in the 2026 guide, with market-leading lawyers from the firm’s insurance and reinsurance practice all being elevated in the rankings.

Chambers described the Bermuda corporate practice as combining “very solid technical skills with great client service”.

“The team continues to be recognised for its involvement in complex, high-value transactions and for the depth of its experience across sectors,” Conyers said.

Marcello Ausenda, director and head of the Bermuda corporate practice, said the 2026 Chambers results recognised the strength, depth and overall dominance of Conyers’ corporate practice.

“These rankings recognise not only individual achievement but also the collaborative culture that supports our work,” Mr Ausenda said. “We know that our team of corporate lawyers is the largest in Bermuda — and we are proud to have our team recognised as best in class.”

He said the results included ten recognised lawyers from the Bermuda corporate practice, reflecting the high calibre of the team, the quality of its work and the trust it won from clients on complex transactional matters.

Sophia Greaves, director and head of the Bermuda insurance practice, said her team has the most ranked insurance lawyers of any Band 1 Insurance team in Bermuda.

Ms Greaves said: “The individual achievements of each lawyer, including the inclusion of Alexandra Macdonald in the rankings this year, is a testament to the group’s collective excellence and the Chambers Band 1 status.”
