The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce 2026 Budget Breakfast & Economic Forum, sponsored by PwC Bermuda, sold out within hours of tickets being released, the chamber said yesterday.

The event takes place on February 23 at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, under an expanded programme that includes an Economic Forum that, the chamber says, will create “a more comprehensive platform for discussion on Bermuda’s fiscal outlook, policy direction and economic priorities”.

The traditional post-Budget breakfast presentation by David Burt, the Premier and Minister of Finance, will be moderated by Arthur Wightman, territory leader, PwC Bermuda, but will be followed by a question-and-answer session from the audience.

Others on stage will be Jason Hayward, the Minister of Economy and Labour, Crystal Caesar, the Minister of Education, Zane DeSilva, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Housing and Municipalities, and Marico Thomas, the president of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.

A chamber statement said that apart from an analysis of the government Budget, the event will focus on practical implications for employers, investors and industry leaders.

Delegates can derive expert insights, engage in discussions and participate in a structured question-and-answer session.

The chamber stated: “The fact that the event sold out within hours reflects the strong appetite within Bermuda’s business community for informed, solutions-focused discussion.

“At a time when economic competitiveness, labour supply, housing availability and education reform are central to Bermuda’s future, it is critical that Government and business engage directly.”
