Summit to discuss future of dental industry
Dental professionals can learn about developments shaping the industry during a two-day summit next month.
A statement from the Ministry of Health said the second annual Bermuda oral health symposium will take place on March 19 and 20 under the theme “Advancing oral health with new and innovative approaches”.
Brian Swann, dental public health consultant, is the keynote speaker and will discuss “developments in the global oral health landscape and the growing intersections between dentistry and wider healthcare systems”.
Kim Wilson, the Minister of Health, said: “This year’s programme brings together local and international speakers, showcasing a range of developments in oral health, public health and emerging technologies.”
Other topics, such as medical emergencies in the dental setting, oral surgery and artificial intelligence in dentistry, will be explored during the event at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.
Attendees can access to exhibition booths on new technologies, products and current research.
