A motorcycle rider seriously injured in a crash on North Shore Road in Pembroke early on Saturday remains in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The 46-year-old Southampton man was found unresponsive in the road near the junction with West Park Lane at about 1.15am.

A police spokesman said an investigation was continuing into the single-vehicle crash and asked anyone with information to contact Pc Kayjuna Lema on 211, or by e-mailing klema@bps.bm.

A female car driver injured at 1am on Friday after her vehicle overturned on South Road, Paget, near St Paul’s Lane, has been released from hospital after treatment.

The 26-year-old Warwick woman was driving west when her vehicle struck a roadside pole and then hit a concrete pillar and railing on the other side of the road.
