Allied World Bermuda has announced eight promotions.

Colm Singleton, head of Allied World Bermuda office, said: “Our colleagues consistently deliver excellence, and today we celebrate their individual and collective contributions to our strong performance,” he continued.

“These promotions reflect the incredible talent and commitment that defines Allied World.”

The employees promoted are:

• Michael Cann, promoted to senior vice-president, chief financial officer Bermuda, Bermuda Finance Group (subject to Immigration approval)

• Jimika Astwood, promoted to senior credit controller, Bermuda Finance Group

• Somer Zuiker, promoted to assistant vice-president, Bermuda Professional Liability Division

• Alex Hulse, promoted to assistant vice-president, Bermuda Catastrophe Analytics Group

• Leonard Williams, promoted to senior underwriter, Bermuda Healthcare Division

• Andrew Burnett-Herkes, promoted to underwriter, Bermuda General Casualty Division

• Jalisa Caines, promoted to assistant underwriter, Bermuda Reinsurance Division

• Dion Steede, promoted to specialist, IT operations, Service Desk Group

Allied World also recognised eight Bermuda office employees who will be celebrating 20-plus years with Allied World: Faye Cook, Dawn Millett, Sherri-Anne Cruickshank, Lachelle Swann, Funmi St. Clair, Monique Georges, Kuanette Taylor, and Michelle Furqan.
