RG Top Ten Employers entry deadline extended
Businesses who wish to take part in the RG Top Ten Employers 2026 competition, presented by PwC, now have more time to enter.
The deadline to register has been extended to April 17.
The awards scheme acknowledges local organisations that excel in employee engagement, satisfaction and talent retention.
In recognising top employers as voted by their own employees, the awards showcase businesses, positively influence their workforce and set the bar for the entire community.
Participating companies must have at least 25 employees and be legally registered in Bermuda.
At least half of their employees must fill out a survey asking them to rate a series of statements.
These are designed to measure their level of satisfaction in ten key areas including strategy and development, mission and purpose, workplace and working conditions, respect for employees, relationship with employer, corporate culture, opportunities for growth, compensation and benefits, communication and workplace diversity.
“This is a somewhat gruelling challenge for most companies to even register based on the survey participation needed within each company,” The Royal Gazette commercial director Michael Grier said. “However, the benefits far outweigh the sacrifice.”
Mr Grier said employees get the opportunity to voice themselves in a safe, confidential environment and employers get feedback on a broad range of issues.
Around 30 firms take part in the competition annually.
Sun Life placed as the top employer last year for the second year in a row.
Registration is confidential and survey results are available to businesses directly through Global Research, which conducts the survey.
In addition to a special breakfast ceremony, winning enterprises are presented with a trophy identifying their standing within the Top Ten.
Registration closes on April 17.
