Ignite Bermuda welcomes applications for its 11th Entrepreneurial Accelerator for two tracks — the core programme and the Fuel Your Ambition series.

The programme invites local innovators to take the next step in building and scaling impactful start-ups. Applications open on Monday and close on April 24, on the Ignite website, www.ignitebermuda.com.

Since launching in 2019, Ignite has supported more than 600 entrepreneurs.

Core Programme participants have access to a modern co-working space, expert-led workshops, personalised enablement sessions and an established mentorship network.

As a data-led accelerator, Ignite Bermuda demonstrates measurable impact with participants going on to launch and grow businesses, create jobs and contribute to Bermuda’s economic development.

The Fuel Your Ambition Series prepares early-stage entrepreneurs by strengthening their leadership, strategic thinking and decision-making skills, enabling them to advance their ideas and fully leverage opportunities such as the core programme.

A spokesman for Ignite said the core programme is focused on helping Bermudian founders move from validated ideas to real traction.

“Through targeted workshops, strategic mentorship and access to critical resources, participants refine their business models, strengthen market positioning and accelerate measurable progress,” Ignite said.

Together, these two five-month tracks support start-up founders, social entrepreneurs and innovators across key industries, including the blue economy, healthcare, technology and community-based enterprise.

The programme is again collaborating with the Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme and the Bermuda Health Council to encourage applications from entrepreneurs working within the blue economy and healthcare sectors.

The blue economy focuses on the responsible use of ocean resources to promote economic growth, employment and environmental sustainability. Bermuda’s strategy supports initiatives such as sustainable fisheries, marine tourism, renewable energy and ocean-based technologies.

The Bermuda Health Council welcomes innovators developing solutions that address non-communicable diseases, mental health challenges and the evolving needs of Bermuda’s ageing population.

Ignite will be holding an open house on April 15 at 5pm at the Ignite Hub at 12 Wesley Street. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Ignite team and alumni to gain insight into the accelerator experience.
