The Government’s new employment website has gone live, the Minister of Economy and Labour has announced.

Jason Hayward said the online platform Bermuda Job Connect from the Department of Workforce Development would better connect job seekers and employers, using enhanced tools for both.

The website replaces Bermuda Job Board. Mr Hayward said it offered a “more modern, user-friendly, data-driven system” that reflected evolving labour needs.

Job seekers can create profiles, access learning resources and apply for jobs while employers can benefit from improved candidate matching, streamlined recruitment and tools to support hiring decisions.

Mr Hayward added: “More than a job board, it connects people with opportunity and ensures both job seekers and employers have the tools they need to succeed.”

He said that ahead of the launch, the department engaged employers and job seekers through training sessions, demonstrations and support resources.

Weekly training sessions for job seekers will take place throughout April at the Bermuda College, offering guidance on how to use the platform effectively.
