Second man charged over Southampton death
A second man has been accused of killing a father of two and a pet last month.
Parris-Mitchell Robinson, 20, appeared in Magistrates’ Court today, when he was charged with unlawfully killing 26-year-old Kawaje Raynor while being concerned with others.
It was also alleged that Mr Robinson used a firearm to commit an indictable offence, namely murder, and “cruelly” killed a dog named TuTu.
The Pembroke resident allegedly committed all three offences on March 15 in Southampton, but was not required to enter pleas as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Warwick resident Jayden Smith-Lightbourne, 21, faced the same three charges when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court last month.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case to the May 4 arraignments and remanded Mr Robinson in custody until that time.
