The Department of Workforce Development will be closed from today through Wednesday as it moves to its new offices at Bermuda College.

The department will officially reopen on Thursday at its new location.

A government spokesman said the closure is necessary to ensure the physical relocation of the department, including the transportation of equipment, the set-up of office space, and the installation of critical information technology and telephone systems.

“These measures are being undertaken to ensure all services are fully operational and clients experience a seamless transition upon reopening,” the spokesman added.

The department will continue to monitor and respond to inquiries related to Bermuda Job Connect, ensuring continuity of support where possible.
