A series of roadworks has been announced for Middle Road, Smith’s, at the Fielders Lane junction; Ord Road, Warwick; and Mangrove Bay Road, Sandys.

In Smith’s, a single-lane closure will accommodate water valve works today and tomorrow from 7.30am to 5pm.

Island Construction staff will direct traffic. Drivers were advised to detour on North Shore Road, Harrington Sound Road or Verdmont Road.

In Warwick, a single-lane closure near 7 Ord Road will be in effect next week from Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, for work on a retaining wall.

Alternative Concrete Solutions will direct traffic. Alternative routes can be taken at Middle Road and South Road.

In Sandys, Mangrove Bay Road will close from 4pm to 10pm on May 4 from Cambridge Road to Somerset Road for a community restoration ceremony.

Traffic controls will be in effect, with access permitted for residents from Cambridge Road to Mangrove Bay Road.
