Uninsured biker banned for six months
A St George’s man has been disqualified from driving all vehicles except trucks for six months.
A’ziah Askia, 23, admitted riding an unlicensed bike and not having valid insurance when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Askia committed the offences at the junction of South Road and Ariel Drive in Devonshire on November 2.
Magistrate Maria Sofianos fined him $1,900 for the offences, added 12 points to his licence and disqualified him from driving all vehicles except trucks, which he needs for work, for six months.
