King Charles III to visit National Museum of Bermuda
Gombeys will welcome King Charles III into the National Museum of Bermuda’s Keep Yard tomorrow.
A spokeswoman for the attraction invited members of the public to the occasion.
Elena Strong, the NMB’s executive director, said: “It is an honour to welcome King Charles to the National Museum of Bermuda.
“His interest in the museum affirms the importance of our work in preservation, research and education, and in helping people better understand Bermuda’s complex and diverse history and its wider global connections.
“We are also pleased to mark this occasion by welcoming the community to join us in celebrating the museum as a place of learning, connection and shared heritage.”
The Keep Yard also hosted royalty when Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, attended the Royal Bermuda Regiment’s 60th anniversary ceremony in October.
