Police appeal for witnesses to Legends murders

The investigation continues into a double murder at Legends Bar.

Police renewed their appeal for information into the attack, in which Shaquan Williams and Jasmin Smith were killed and three others wounded.

Four people entered the Sandys bar at about 10.30pm on May 1, 2025 and fired multiple shots.

Two men, Tyrese Lee and Jeremiah Tyrell, have since been arrested and charged in connection with the murders, attempted killings and using firearms. A spokesman said “detectives continue relevant inquiries”.

Police thanked members of the public who have already come forward, but urged anyone with information to contact them.

The spokesman said: “If you know something, please say something. Your assistance could be vital in helping to bring full closure to this case and justice for the victims and their families.”
