Team Bermuda claim honours in Florida

Steven Bridges and David Selley powered their way to victory in the Thunder On Cocoa Beach in Florida today.

Competing in their 32ft twin-engined catamaran, Team Bermuda, the local duo overcame punishing rough seas to lead the 12-boat fleet across the line and solidify their lead in the IHRA Offshore Powerboat Series Super Stock standings.

Bridges and Selley have been the most consistent team in the Championship to date having won the season opening won the St Petersburg Powerboat Grand Prix and finishing runner-up in the New Orleans Powerboat Grand Prix.

Also flying the island’s banner in Florida was the team of Luis Martins and Nick Imprescia who placed sixth respectively.
