First responders ran through a safety drill near the airport that included new rescue and firefighting crash vehicles yesterday morning.
The emergency response exercise combined staff from the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service with police and Skyport, which manages LF Wade International Airport.
Emergency vehicles included a fire and rescue boat out on Ferry Reach, which used the new ramp leading into the water at Stonecrusher Corner — and the specialised new Rosenbauer Panther rescue fleet for the airport.
