PLP hosts outreach in Paget
Two government ministers will be on hand to answer questions when the Progressive Labour Party hosts a public meeting in Paget this evening.
The PLP said its central committee meeting will be held at Paget Primary School from 6.30pm.
Kim Wilkerson, the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, and Tinée Furbert, the Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors will attend.
The meeting will feature a presentation from the Bermuda Road Safety Council and residents of Paget East, Paget West and Warwick North East were especially encouraged to attend.
The party said its central committee is the PLP’s heartbeat, the “avenue through which the ideas of everyday Bermudians rise up and become the work of our movement”.
It said “taking it on the road is about meeting people where they are, in their own community, on their own terms”.
