Soca king to headline Admiralty House concert
The king of soca will wow audiences on land and sea during a concert on Saturday.
A statement said the world-renowned Machel Montano will headline the Waves soca in the water bash at Admiralty House Park.
With a career spanning more than four decades, Mr Montano is one of the most influential and celebrated performers in Caribbean music.
Keidric Smith, executive member of concert organiser Party People Entertainment, said: “Our team has more than 20 years experience producing events and being part of Bermuda's carnival and soca culture, so having the opportunity to work with an artist of Machel's calibre is a proud moment and something we've looked forward to for a long time.
“We encourage everyone to come out and experience Waves because there's truly nothing else like being in the water, surrounded by thousands of people, celebrating great music and creating unforgettable memories right here in Bermuda.”
Waves, set to take place from 2pm to 9pm, is only open to those aged 18 and older and tickets are available at ticketisle.bm.
