Maidentrip Showing

A documentary about 14-year-old girl Laura Dekker’s journey to become to the youngest person to sail across the world solo is being shown at BUEI. Enjoy and learn about this young woman’s two-year voyage. Mention the film and get 15 per cent off of food at Harbourfront before the film’s showing. Reservations are required.

RSVP for RBR 60th Anniversary Social

Royal Bermuda Regiment soldiers past and present have been invited to join in a celebration of the service’s 60th anniversary next month. The All Ranks Past and Present Barbecue, to be held on July 11, will bring together troops from across generations. A celebration of service, camaraderie and community, interested attendees are urged to RSVP by June 26th.

Bash on the Onion Patch

A celebration of 100 years of partnership with Royal Bermuda Yacht Club and Cruising Club of America for the Newport to Bermuda Yacht Race. Presented by Gosling’s, patrons and sailing enthusiast are invited to participate in the festivities. The evening will include food, drink and live entertainment from local as well as global talent. To cap off the evening, Gosling’s will be making the largest cocktail in Bermuda under the Gazebo, a 300-litre Royal Bermuda Yacht Club cocktail containing, Gosling’s Amber Rum, Fresh Lime, Cointreau and Falernum.

Rosé Day

Sample a wide selection of rosé wines from the island’s three largest wine suppliers this weekend for Rosé Day. Brought to you by Deja View and set in Barr’s Bay Park, the Rosé Day event invites attendees to dress their best to enjoy wine, canapés and music.

Menuhin Foundation Student Showcase

Join the Menuhin Foundation as they celebrate their 50th anniversary with an evening of music and inspiration at the Summer Showcase Concert, featuring some of Bermuda’s most dedicated young violinists, violists, and cellists. This special event highlights both individual performers and chamber groups, each bringing their own artistry, courage, and musical presence to the stage.

Motorfest

The eighth annual Motorfest returns this weekend for another exciting day of racing, performances, vendors and everything motor. This family-friendly event is free but participants in judging categories must register online. Presented by Scooter Mart this event is a beloved summer tradition for the community.

Devil’s Mile Fundraiser and Barbecue

The popular annual swim fundraiser hosted by Bermuda Open Water takes place this weekend. The Devil’s Mile is a one-mile swim from Devil’s Hole public slip to Trunk Island. Following the swim there will be a free barbecue on Trunk Island but donations are encouraged, funds from the barbecue will go towards the Bermuda Zoological Society. There will be transportation provided for non-swimming fans who would like to watch the race and attend the barbecue. Interested attendees and participants are asked to visit the event’s website for additional information

Hosted by Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda, this fundraising event is an evening of fashion, storytelling, culture and community. Highlighting the experiences, creativity, resilience, and contributions of Black men in Bermuda, they welcome allies and supporters from across the community to stand together in unity, understanding and empowerment.
