Thank you for everything, Gail Smith
Dear Sir,
As we celebrate the end of the school year, we are proud of all of our students graduating and moving up and the teachers who guided them there. As parents at St George's Preparatory School, we are not just proud of our students and teachers; we are proud of our principal. Gail Smith has spent nine years as principal of St George's Prep, continuing a legacy of a school community we are proud to be a part of.
We know it is her time to move out of this role, but she will be missed and loved by so many of us. Our children and teachers will say goodbye in their own ways, but we wanted to make a public declaration of our gratitude for her service.
Mrs Smith's job has not been easy, but every day she has shown our children love, care, compassion, and dedication. She has helped to hold a high standard and supported our children to rise to the occasion.
She has held our children to the school creed:
“I am intelligent and creative.
“I move forward with confidence.
“I respect myself and others.
“I have high expectations for myself.
“I believe I will succeed!”
They believed because she believed.
Outside of school groups, St George's Prep children are kind and helpful. This is a reflection of Gail, her hard work, and her leadership.
It takes a village to raise a child. Thank you, Gail, for being a leader in our village. You will be missed.
