A Southampton teenager was disqualified yesterday from driving all vehicles for nine months.

Erne Jose Martinez, 19, admitted speeding at 72km/h when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court.

Magistrate Auralee Cassidy fined Martinez $420 for the offence, which he committed on Brighton Hill on March 20, and added seven points to his licence.

Martinez had 12 existing points before his court appearance yesterday and was disqualified based on points accrued.
