A man accused of escaping from police custody and resisting arrest in Sandys has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Magistrates’ Court heard that Miguel Swan, 52, from Sandys, was accused of committing the offences on Sunday morning.
Magistrate Maria Sofianos released Mr Swan on bail at $2,000 and ordered that he report to Hamilton Police Station every Wednesday between 6am and 8pm.
The case was adjourned until August 10 to allow the relevant paperwork to be completed.
