Walkers promotes seven Bermudians
International law firm Walkers has announced the promotion of seven Bermudians across it’s Bermuda and London offices.
In Bermuda, promotions include Benjamin Green to senior counsel for finance and corporate, as well as Taryn Swanson to executive legal secretary in finance and corporate. Sarai Paul (human resources manager), Madison Petty (senior marketing and business development manager) and Kyra Beach (marketing and business development executive) were promoted in business services.
Two Bermudians based in London have also been promoted — Catherine Outerbridge to senior counsel in finance and corporate, and Samantha Walker to senior counsel in insurance.
The promotions comes in a landmark year for the office, which marked its tenth anniversary in 2026, a decade on from its establishment as the first new international firm to enter the Bermuda market.
Kevin Taylor, managing partner of Walkers’ Bermuda office, said: “Each of these colleagues has earned this recognition through the quality of their work and their commitment to delivering a best-in-class service for our clients. We look forward to their continued growth and significant contributions to our business going forward.”
In a statement, the law firm said: “Walkers is proud to support the continued growth of Bermudian talent, with promotions across both the Bermuda and London offices, reflecting the culture of advancement within the firm.”
In total, 112 people have been promoted at all levels across the firm’s global offices this year, in one of the largest promotion rounds in its history.
The firm added that further promotions across Walkers Professional Services will be announced later this month.
