A woman was taken to hospital after her car overturned on South Road, Devonshire this afternoon.

The Bermuda Police Service said that the woman was understood to be the sole occupant in the vehicle and the extent of her injuries was unknown.

Officers were at the scene of the crash, near the junction with Belmer Drive, and traffic was being diverted at Tee Street and Brighton Hill.

Motorists were advised to detour away from the area and use alternative routes while the scene was cleared.
