Only one international company saw activity on the Bermuda Stock Exchange with 6,676 HSBC shares changing hands to close at $17.11, up $2.11, or 14.06 per cent, with a turnover of $107,371.80.
Meanwhile, Butterfield rose 80 cents, or 1.49 per cent, on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $60.56 with 82,435 shares trading.
