Extra roads ban for disqualified driver

A man who drove a car while disqualified has been banned from driving all vehicles for three years.

Jecoa Thomas, 26, admitted the offence when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The Pembroke resident was found driving in Devonshire on June 25, when he was already banned from the roads until January 2029.

It marked the third time Thomas was caught driving while disqualified since he was banned from the roads in November 2024.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson fined Thomas $1,000 for the offence, or six months behind bars if not paid, and further banned him from driving until July 2029.
