Liberty Mutual Bermuda has welcomed eight summer interns to its annual internship programme, which offers students and young professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the insurance business.

The interns are working in departments including underwriting, claims and operations, where they are learning from experienced colleagues while gaining insight into a range of career opportunities within the industry.

“This year’s group includes both returning interns and new participants, bringing a mix of continuity, fresh energy, and new perspectives to the workplace,” the company said in a press release.

In addition to their day-to-day responsibilities, the interns are taking part in Liberty Mutual Bermuda's community outreach initiatives.

Liberty Mutual Bermuda said the internship programme is designed to help develop future industry talent by providing participants with practical experience, professional skills and a strong foundation for their careers.
