Butterfield hits new high in New York

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 3,745.99 in the absence of trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today.
Meanwhile, the US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank soared $1.25, or 2.05 per cent, to a record high on the New York Stock Exchange of $62.37, as 104,682 shares changed hands.
Butterfield’s share price is now up more than 25 per cent this year.
